Spoke with LifeSize about their telepresence solution which is a notch up from just standard videoconferencing. It truly makes you feel that all the people are actually in the room. The $40K solution includes three cameras with codec and the conferencing phone with 16 microphones. You’ll need to get the HD monitors and the AMX control panel to manage the video system.
Other features include the ability to dumb down to a traditional video conference and push content to a fourth screen for collaboration.
