The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament (aka March Madness) began last Thursday – which means that millions of basketball fans filled out their brackets with the hope that all of their guesses are correct and they win their pool. I participate in this yearly tradition because:
- I love basketball
- Guessing which team will win each game make the games more exciting to watch
- It gives me the opportunity to beat my colleague Michael Leahy (@michaelleahy & Marquette alumnus) in our company pool
Thursday started off well for me – only got 2 games wrong. I was feeling good until Friday. Friday was the day that two 15-seeded teams beat two 2-seeded teams (only happened 4 times in NCAA history prior to last week.) I ended up losing 7 games in one day – ouch. That is why they play the games and why March Madness is the most exciting four weeks of basketball each year. Now you may be asking yourself how does this relate to Interop?
